Job Summary: SKF Aerospace is a first-tier supplier to the global aviation industry and much more. Our production group, technologies, & products are at the heart of aerospace industry and the world’s leading aircraft jet engine & gearbox manufacturers at our Falconer, NY location.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR):
- Balloon customer drawings.
- Prepare AS9102 Forms
- Gather material certifications.
- Populate AS9102 Forms with variable data.
- Prepare FAIR packages for Quality Assurance review.
- Manage the FAIR repository.
Documentation Control Coordinator
- Update Falconer controlled documents as outlined in a document change form.
- Coordinate customer approval of revised documents.
- Manage the distribution of controlled documents per the Documentation Control Database
- Update the electronic documentation control repository with revised documents.
Quality Improvement Initiatives
- Participate in Root Cause Corrective Actions
- Perform Measurement System Analysis studies.
- Perform Process Capability studies.
- Assists in managing Industrial accounts with Quality Assurance Engineering support
Workflow Improvement
- Support Quality Assurance Engineers with improvement initiatives to current processes.
- Create and maintain databases and spreadsheets.
Corrective Action Coordinator
- Tracks and reports on the status of all company corrective actions
- Assists in the facilitation of the corrective action process and methodology
Job Requirements:
Strong communication skills (oral and written), Strong computer skills (MS Word, MS Access, Excel, Powerpoint). Preferred candidates will have a two year degree in Engineering, Quality, Information Technology or Business
