Responsibilities:

  • Implement and execute the Heavy Industry strategy for the Americas, positioning SKF as a leader in the OEM Heavy Industry.
  • Drive growth and profitability in the Heavy Industry, influencing the company's financial success.
  • Align the Regional Market and SKF Value Proposition for the Heavy Industry, ensuring offerings meet customer needs and market trends.
  • Identify and communicate Industry trends and market needs within the Heavy segment, establishing SKF as a proactive and informed leader.
  • Develop and implement effective pricing strategies for OE and AM in the Heavy Industry, balancing competitiveness with profitability.
  • Develop a comprehensive Heavy Industry strategy for the Americas, ensuring strategic alignment with global objectives.
  • Drive segment growth and profit, with measurable performance metrics.
  • Foster a strong connection with the Global Commercial Excellence Bearings for cohesive strategy implementation.
  • Map key opportunities across the Americas for profitable growth in the Heavy Industry.
  • Create and maintain a playbook aligning the Regional Market and SKF Value Proposition specific to Heavy.
  • Act as a connector for FVC to OE and AM, ensuring seamless integration and strategy alignment for the Heavy segment.
  • Collaborate with Product Line Managers and factories to position the Heavy footprint for market share growth and maximized revenue and profit.
  • Communicate Industry trends and market needs, providing insightful guidance to the organization for the Heavy Industry.

 

 

Required Skills and Abilities:   

 

  • Bachelor degree is required (Business Administration, Engineering or Equivalent)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Industrial Sales, Manufacturing or Engineering Industry
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience developing business in an industrial or manufacturing market
  • Knowledge and Expertise: Deep understanding of the Heavy market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Lead and motivate a team focused on the Heavy segment, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-Centric and Results-Oriented Mindset: Deliver value-added solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations in the Heavy Industry.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Set clear strategies for the Heavy segment and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Analyze complex data and solve problems efficiently to drive Heavy segment performance.
  • Financial Acumen: Manage budgets to ensure Heavy segment profitability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with teams to achieve goals and drive success in the Heavy Industry.
  • Technical Expertise: Good understanding of technical aspects related to the Heavy segment, including product knowledge and manufacturing processes.
