Position Summary
- Operation of process equipment and others as assigned in a safe and efficient manner. Assist others to provide an organized and clean workplace including: all areas of the plant, workstations, equipment, walkways, and locker rooms. Possess strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well as a team. Ability to self-start yet take orders as directed. Other duties assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate operations safely, accurately, and efficiently using Work Instructions.
- Read, understand and follow job specific Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Ability to pay close attention to detail, visually inspecting critical areas of the Rubber Seals for any types of defects that could cause failure.
- Utilization of the Visual Defect Guide to help determine a good part from a bad part
- Read part drawings to know where critical areas (CP vs Picker) are located on specific parts
- Responsible for completing daily production logs.
- Wear required PPE: hearing protection, safety glasses, and steel toe shoes. Other areas may also have job-related PPE such as gloves and/or sleeves and will be provided.
- Maintain proper daily maintenance and housekeeping of machines using ‘Five S’ Lean concepts - sort, set in order, shine, standardize.

Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two years’ experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Experience and/or background in equipment operations such as molding rubber components, spraying adhesives and grit blasting metals.
- Computer Familiarity.
- Good English reading and comprehension skills.
- Candidate must have a strong desire to be a part of a high growth company with a results-oriented culture.
- Ability to move and lift up to 40 pounds.
- New hire would start on first shift (6am – 2pm) for purposes of training.
- This position is compliant to US government ITAR requirements.
