Salary Range: $84,000.00 to $100,000.00

Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee multiple concurrent product development projects within our aerospace-focused organization. This role is critical in coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring timely delivery of elastomeric product solutions that meet quality and performance standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination

  • Manage and prioritize 6–8 active projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design Engineering, Test, Mold Design, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, and Quality.
  • Ensure alignment of project goals with company objectives and customer requirements.

Schedule & Issue Tracking

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Gantt charts for all active projects.
  • Support Engineering to track and manage each project’s Open Issues Log, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings, to help drive progress.

Supplier & Procurement Support

  • Work with Purchasing to monitor open purchase orders and supplier delivery status.
  • Escalate delays or risks to ensure continuity in project timelines.

Communication & Reporting

  • Provide clear and consistent updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Create and distribute project documentation, timelines, issue logs, and meeting notes.

 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with custom or engineered components is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project and Excel).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

 

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working in a team-based product development environment.
  • Understanding of aerospace industry standards and supplier management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project needs.
