Salary Range: $50,000.00 to $59,000.00

Main purpose of the role:
To support Product Development and Engineering with validation testing of bearings and components in the test laboratory.
Key accountabilities:
· Perform test setups/teardowns on laboratory test equipment
· Build test assemblies according to drawings and test specifications
· Perform measurements on test samples
· Inspect and document condition of samples after testing
· Instrument samples with thermocouples, load cells, accelerometers
· Monitor test and maintain log sheets
· Assist with identification, handling, and storage of laboratory samples
· Perform maintenance on test equipment
· Participate in EHS activities
· Support building facility activities (shipping/receiving, general maintenance, etc.)
· Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge and competence requirements:
· Strong computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams
· Mechanical aptitude
· People skills
· Organizational skills ability to multi-task
· Knowledge of basic hand tools, torque wrenches and measurement tools
· Knowledge of dial indicators, micrometers, and basis metrology measurements
· Basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
· Basic machine shop skills, lathe, bandsaw, grinders
· Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
· Ability to work on feet for long periods and lift to 40 lbs.
· Ability to bend, kneel and work in tight spaces
· Ability to work in an environment with oils, occasional oil fumes and high and low frequency noise levels
Education requirements:
· High School Diploma
· Technical trade school training or associate degree at a university level is preferred
Work experience:
· Minimum of two years of experience in a testing laboratory or related technical field
· Knowledge of calibration and instrumentation a plus
