Summary:

The Lubrication Management division of SKF consists of a global team that develops and manufactures lubrication solutions and tools & equipment for use in industrial applications and automotive shops.

 

The Warehouse Systems Analyst will be the Super User of the St. Louis Warehouse Management System.  Core responsibilities include conducting root cause analysis on issues presented by other departments such as Customer Service and Supply Chain and suggesting and implementing continuous improvement projects in the distribution center that will improve efficiency and reduce cost.

 

The Warehouse Systems Analyst reports to the Distribution Manager at the St Louis factory.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot WMS software and equipment issues.
  • Configure products to facilitate accurate and efficient storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Optimize storage space.
  • Optimize equipment processing time in all areas of the DC.
  • Keep current with WMS and Autostore software updates.
  • Maintain relationship with WMS software provider(s).
  • Drive continuous improvement in software, equipment, and processes.
  • Analyze Ship-to-Promise failures for root cause and implement corrective actions.
  • Support the distribution center by overseeing the queue operations which is responsible for releasing orders, monitoring distribution center workload by area to meet all customer requirements.
  • Train distribution staff as needed.

 

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Other Requirements:
  • Minimum 4-year Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards customer setting parameters in support of distribution center operations
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, ERP, and WMS knowledge.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
