Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team at SKF. The successful candidate will oversee a team of Quality Assurance Engineers, ensuring that all processes and products meet SKF's stringent quality standards. Additionally, the Quality Assurance Supervisor will serve as a backup for all customer accounts, managing day-to-day activities to maintain seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of Quality Assurance Engineers
- Ensure all products and processes adhere to SKF's quality standards
- Serve as a backup for all customer accounts
- Oversee day-to-day activities to ensure smooth operations
- Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve quality issues
- Monitor adherence to quality assurance policies and procedures
- Provide training and support to Quality Assurance Engineers
- Implement SKF's Zero Defect management approach and continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with SKF's quality management system
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and/or 10-15 years of experience
- Ability to work in a team-based environment
- Familiarity with SKF's quality management system and standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Technical Qualifications:
- Oversight of Purchase Order Review process
- Experience in Quality Assurance: 5+ years of experience in a quality control or assurance role, preferably within the manufacturing or engineering sectors
- Proficiency in Quality Analysis Software: Familiarity with quality control software and data analysis tools is beneficial
- Knowledge of SKF's Quality Standards: Understanding SKF's quality management system, including Zero Defect management and continuous improvement initiatives is a plus
- Technical Documentation Skills: Ability to interpret and manage technical documents and specifications
- Audit and Inspection Experience: Conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with SKF's quality standards
- MS Office Suite- Intermediate to advanced level proficiency
- Experience tracking Quality trainings in a learning management system
