Job Summary:

The Product Line Manager is responsible for maximizing product line growth and profitability. We drive product line to offer positioning and growth through product roadmaps and steer the associated product development needed

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Industry Directors, collaborate and align between product line strategies and industry strategies, enable mutual support and shared growth.
  • Manage product line sales and profitability, developing strategies to drive growth and strengthen underperforming or low ? margin product families.
  • Own the development of new offers, ensuring alignment with the value proposition, cost targets, footprint expectations, and delivery timelines.
  • Lead cross ? functional collaboration across Sales, Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, and the full value chain for related product line projects.
  • Lead the Go ? to ? Market planning and execution for new products.
  • Ensure proper market positioning for new products to maximize competitiveness and adoption.
  • Support growth in new strategic areas by leveraging and optimizing the existing product portfolio.
  • Manage the product value chain footprint, including bearings, bearing components, and core competencies.
  • Drive assortment optimization and provide input to inventory optimization initiatives.
  • Contribute pricing input and recommendations based on market price levels, competitive dynamics, and customer value.

 

Job Requirements:

  • University degree in Engineering or business & analytics.
  • A high ambition to make a difference in the role, demonstrating the owners mindset
  • Proven track record in outside-in, applying an outside-in approach, always starting with the customer
  • Strategic agility: Has broad knowledge and perspective of market, technology and trends in these segments
  • Strong track record in either of these roles - Purchasing or Manufacturing or Application and Product Engineering
